Pro Bono Initiatives

At Singh & Singh, we believe in using law as an instrument of positive change. We take up and invest resources in pro bono matters where we believe it serves the public good and aligns with our Firm's values.

Beyond pro bono work and legal aid initiatives, the firm also actively contributes to legal education by delivering lectures, talks, and presentations as mentors at various law universities and professional platforms. Through these engagements, Singh & Singh aims to share its expertise, guide aspiring legal professionals, and contribute to the development of the legal community.

Notable Pro Bono Cases

Delhi High Court grants provisional admission to EWS student | WP(C) 11116/2024

Our legal team fought pro-bono to ensure Master Lavik's right to education, successfully challenging the school's objections. The Hon'ble Delhi High Court ruled in his favor, granting him provisional admission.

Supreme Court grants interim relief to minor burn victim | SLP(C) Diary No. 42323/2025

Our legal team took up the case of Rekha, a burn-injured girl who was a minor at the time of the incident, on a pro bono basis. Challenging the High Court's order directing her to return the compensation, the Hon'ble Supreme Court issued notice and stayed the impugned order, granting her interim relief.

The Petitioner was represented by Mr. Ashutosh Kumar (Sr. Partner) and Mr. Vinod Chauhan (Principal Associate) from Singh & Singh Law Firm LLP.

Moot Court Competition Judge

Aadya Chawla, our Principal Associate, was invited as a Judge at the Inaugural Edition of the Vidhi Pragati National IP Moot Court Competition. The competition was organised by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) in collaboration with CIIPC-IPR Chair, National Law University, Delhi. The moot problem of the competition was based on Artificial Intelligence & Copyright.
